Easy Spring Dresses

I love when the weather starts to warm up, and I can think about future days walking about in a comfy cotton dress, don't need tights, I can wear comfy sandals and of course I won't worry about carrying a jacket.
I made four of this lovely dress, here featured at Blush in Cleveland, where three of them went and one is staying with me.
This one I just made today, still need to add the pretty yet simple god buttons. I love Navy and mustard yellow. I have enough of the horse fabric to make a few more of this type, perhaps I will do a navy eyelet with a fun lining
This color palette and pattern is like a relaxing dream world! I'm in love with this dress, it's one that I just couldn't take my eyes off after i made here, (also at Blush in Cleveland)
Bike dress! I really hope that one person who gets this dress has a cool vintage bike and a fantastic pair of swedish hasbeens, maybe a cool red pair, I also hope she has a near perfect day wearing this dress and her shoes while going for a bike ride :) This dress is at Union Rose in Portland, OR
I love picking out cool fabrics, this mushroom fabric spoke to me, it's a little thinner and softer than some of the other cottons I get which was super fun, the colors are fun yet subtle, which is definitely something I go for while designing. I want everyone to feel unique yet comfortable. This dress is at Sassafras in Downtown Seattle.

Spring Activity

I'm making lots and lots of cotton dresses for Spring!!! So many beautiful colors and fantastic prints to keep the creative juices flowing!!

I made this dress from the remaining fabric of a fun special order, she ordered the narwhal fabric from Spoonflower, and I found the pretty rose fabric that matches the colors perfectly. The mint background also has pretty white polka dots.

I think I will always love to make space dresses, I have a bit of this space traveler fabric to add accents to the star fabric, I think it's a pretty great combination. Two of these dresses where taken to Monster in Ballard http://www.monsterartandclothing.com/

A couple of these amazing dresses also went to Monster this month, I love the color combo, and the sci fi look mixed with the old fashioned wall paper looking print.

I love this lavender rose and skeleton fabric, this dress also inspired me to work more with lace this summer, I'm excited to wear it with a contrasting slip under.

Can't go wrong with cats and books! This dress is available at the Pretty Parlor http://prettyparlor.com/wordpress/ in Medium. (the small sold already)

Salty Sea Dress, This dress is even better in person, it'll be at Sassafras http://www.sassafras-seattle.com/ coming this week, and I'm getting the Sea Captain fabric in a slightly different color way, so more to come :)

81

I've been adding lots of new dresses to Etsy! I'm love curating my little online world.

I love this amazing lantern fabric, the colors are so unlikely but look beautiful together. I made this dress last year but decided to change the sleeves on it to pretty cap sleeves

Queen of the Galaxy! I was lucky enough to be gifted some amazing fabric from the talented Jessie Beans last year, and this Barbarella fabric was in the mix. I decided to pair it with this black cosmic fabric, I think the contrast looks amazing

This is my take on a Valentine dress, light and pretty but with a dark heart.

This is one of my all time favorite dresses, I love the unicorn fabric, it makes me feel like I'm full filling all my childhood dreams.
